Summary
Felix’s gasp was smothered by Chan’s lips on his, kissing him deep and hungry. Felix’s lips parted and Chan nipped at his lower lip, and then Felix was kissing back hard.
Chan pulled him closer, one hand holding the base of his skull, the other on his hip. Felix’s knees buckled, but Chan’s massive hand on his waist held him up.
Still kissing, Chan shoved Felix up against the bookshelf.

Felix moves to a quiet neighborhood after an injury, hoping for some solitude. Before long, howling fills the forest at night, and Felix finds himself at the center of attention.

I don't know if anyone's told you this yet, but the reason we have so many in the village and why we let them grow so big is because of how well it can sustain us. The elders tell us it warms the earth, that it brings rain. I'm sure you know the basic uses like oil and seeds, but did you also know we use it to tell time? The sunflowers face the sun the whole day through. They rise in the east every morning and set in the west every day, just like the sun.
That's how I feel whenever I see you. My eyes follow you day in and day out like sunflowers follow the sun. You're my sun, Felix — beautiful, like sunshine, and bright and warm, both inside and out. All I want is to be around you and your warmth, even if it's just once, just for a moment.
