There came the knock, a tentative one but still, unmistakably a knock. He wasn’t going away. With a deep, bracing breath, Hizashi opened the door and said, “What are you doing here, Shouta.” in as measured a voice as he could.'
Professor Yamada had been going through lesson plans, living his life. Until freshly retired professional hockey player and former high school friend Aizawa Shouta comes knocking at his door and throws it all into a tailspin. (Hockey knowledge not needed, but it helps. 'They met each other head on and Shouta moved to rap his staff against Hizashi’s knuckles but the other boy was out of the way before he can connect. He tried again and there, Hizashi slipped out of the way again. Hizashi tried to hit back but for all that Hizashi was quick mentally, he was not an athlete and Shouta countered him neatly. But then Hizashi was moving in a way that he shouldn’t have been able to, in a way that Shouta hadn’t expected and there was a staff millimeters from his cheek.“One,” Hizashi growled out. Shouta erupted, his mind blank for a blissful moment for nothing else but clean, piercing anger. Hizashi couldn’t compete with his speed leaving him frozen in place with a staff a whisper away from his throat.
“You aren’t a pilot,” Shouta ground out. “Stay in comms and leave me the fuck alone.”
Hizashi’s eyes narrowed and he slid his foot back against the mat, his tight smile not meeting his eyes. “Not gonna happen.”'

“No, fuck you, Shouta.” Yamada said, stepping in close enough that Eraser could see the stubble on his jaw. “I’ve fuckin' had it watching you try to kill yourself over and over and over for the last five goddamned years and I can’t do this anymore. I’ve already buried one friend, I’m not burying two.”'
Shouta was handling things fine. Hizashi disagreed.

“I do not,” the spirit scoffed before attempting to crawl awkwardly back into Mezou’s lap, trying to be careful with the laptop keyboard but ultimately failing.
“That would be my liver,” Mezou pointed out as a claw landed a bit harder than he might like. His hands were gentle as he picked Dark Shadow up, mindful of its lack of actual weight. He still held it up, the shadow’s form small, mild and sweet as he looked it over as though it were an annoyingly endearing cat. “I thought you said that you did like math? Or at least that it was easy?”
“It is easy.” The spirit let out an annoyed huff. “Fumikage is just trying to distract me from the fact that you both are being incredibly annoying.”'
Mezou really just needs to study. Dark Shadow really just needs attention.

Summary
There are a dozen reasons why making Gilfoyle his best man is a dumb idea. He constantly makes his disdain for the institution of marriage known, as well as his derision for Dinesh and Kelsey for participating in such ‘traditionalist Judeo-Christian bullshit.’ He doesn't ever help Dinesh make decisions on the wedding planning; the date and venue are met with a “Sure, whatever,” and Dinesh’s very carefully crafted Pinterest board of mens' tuxes gets a snort and a “definitely that one” that Dinesh is pretty sure is sarcastic. It's about what he expected from him.
It's even worse because Kelsey fucking hates Gilfoyle. She's started trying to suggest that maybe Dinesh should consider switching and making fucking Jared his best man instead. That would probably be a good idea if they wanted to make the wedding run more smoothly, because Jared is an absolute beast at organization for stuff like this, but Dinesh will never actually do it, because Jared is super lame. Besides, despite everything he always says to the contrary, Gilfoyle really is his best friend.
More than anything else, though, making Gilfoyle his best man is a monumentally, disastrously stupid idea because Dinesh is still in love with him.

Summary
Tentacole and Tsukuyomi have been sent by their Union to patrol around the Fukuoka Prefecture. First, Tentacole hopes after 8 years that there has been a change in behaviour towards Heteromorphs. Sadly, he was wrong. Now that Tsukuyomi is at great risk of this mistreatment himself, Tentacole finds he'll need to try to sort things out in his own hands - even with his failing mental health as past memories constantly play in his mind. Perhaps its time to enlighten Tsukuyomi about the past in full detail...
