The look in her eyes was seared into his brain, worming its way into his dreams, warping them into nightmares. Their fight replayed in a constant loop in his head, causing him to wince at the memory of all the horrible things he had said. 

    That alone was bad enough, but then there was Pomni. She had tried so desperately to get through to him, to understand.

    And he had pushed her away. 

    He had to make it right.

    While is Jax trying to come to peace with his feelings, Pomni is struggling with her own and starts to uncover secrets about the circus from unexpected places. Secrets that could turn this whole place on its head.
