Summary
It's been seven years since the end of the Dominion War, five years since Garak last saw Doctor Bashir. At a peace conference on Earth, Garak is framed for a crime he did not commit by Doctor Bashir and is taken to a black site run by Section 31.
He and Miles O'Brien will have to figure out how to break free, clear Garak's name, and unravel the mystery of what happened to Bashir when he joined Section 31 five years ago.

Summary
2023: To celebrate OPLA, I took reader requests for one shots, with the understanding they would be 500 to 1k words at most. The goal was to see how many I could write over the course of the last two days leading up to OPLA. Bashir is flushed, sweating, his normally sharp brown eyes glazed and his pupils dilated.
He’s been drugged. And Garak knows, now, how this will go. He’s familiar with this strategy. If he’d ever been directly ordered to do it himself, he would have.
In an instant. For Cardassia. But this isn’t for Cardassia.Garak and Bashir are captured by a Cardassian intent on making Garak suffer. And he has decided the best way to do that is through Bashir. Garak is forced to watch while his captor has some fun with a drugged and desperate Bashir.
Garak does his best to feign indifference, but it soon becomes undeniable that he is terribly affected - both by concern for Bashir and his own shameful arousal. In the end though, one thing is certain: This Cardassian will die by Garak's hand.

When Julian comes to confront him about the bio-mimetic gel and a handful of loose suspicions, Garak is prepared. His story will be the perfect balance of lies and misdirection and technical truths. He’s even prepared to sacrifice deeper, personal truths for the sake of keeping the conspiracy hidden. Besides, Garak has his own suspicions about what draws Julian to him, despite everything that Garak is, despite everything that he’s done.
