Now that her fatal design flaws had been deemed irreparable, her days are clearly numbered, though her crew continues on as best they can. Lieutenants (JG) Cameron Gahan and Remy LaChance accepted commissions to the Ohio so they could serve together, hoping to further the relationship they'd cultivated since their Academy days. All is well until an energetic Peter Kirk transfers aboard, instantly upsetting their not so delicate balance. The piece takes place in September 2271, nearly three years after the final episode of Star Trek: The Original Series. Uniforms, starship design, interiors, and technology are all firmly rooted in the Original Series aesthetic, with some updates and slight modifications.
