Summary
Another louder crash, and Tommy hardly sees one of the aisles collapse in on itself before he’s buried his face in Wilbur’s chest.
His heart is thumping like he’s running a marathon, and all but his legs are wrapped around Wilbur. Shaking and uncontrollably chirping, Tommy still doesn’t think he’s felt safer in his life than in Wilbur’s arms.
And Wilbur is hugging Tommy back, rubbing above his wings and whispering, “It’s fine, no one was hurt. It only fell, dear. I’ve got you.”
Tommy can’t totally understand the words, not when his mind is a jumble of fear and adrenaline. He’s all instincts now, but he knows that Wilbur is protecting him and Wilbur will keep him safe. Tommy can’t even fight his birdbrain when the name of his foster brother is replaced by the title, dad.

Or: Tommy accidentally imprints on his human foster brother, Wilbur, after a minor inconvenience. Now, he feels pressured to keep his instincts and feelings a secret… which should be easy enough, right?

Summary
Tommy understood. His brothers were working hard, working for themselves and for the people they cared about. They deserved some fatherly reassurance. While Tommy didn’t exactly do much. If anything, he was dragging the others down. Stressed about another family member, another friend to care for. Tommy didn’t want that, so he didn’t complain. Sure, that line of thinking made him feel like a little bit of a burden, but it’s not like he’s lying to himself. His family loves him, just- a little less.
Just a little less.

Techno’s schoolwork has been piling up a bit. He’s in his room more often than not.Phil’s in a rough spot at work. He needs some help to keep everyone afloat.
Wilbur’s taken to helping him out. A little too much.
Tommy feels… ignored. A little. Like a burden, a little.
Or, Tommy’s family is really busy, but they always seem to have time for each other, whenever their youngest isn’t around. (This all turns very fluffy dw y’all)

“No!” He protests, too loud for the soft moment and making his brother freeze in where he was about to abandon him to the sheets, “Please-” he begs, eyes burning but no tears to be shed as his voice drops back down into a hoarse whisper, “Let me have this… please?”
“Tommy-”
“I just-” he shudders around his own words, “Just this once? Before you go?”
Techno chuffs softly, “I’m not leaving, Runt,” he assures, even though he doesn’t know it's a lie, “I’m not leaving, okay?”
“You will...” Tommy’s eyes flutter shut again, exhaustion dragging him down as he longs to whisper more, “You will… You all do… you all will…”
(Where Tommy dies in prison and ends up in the past with all the trauma to fuck it up again... and his scars keep appearing? What the hell?)

Tommy’s vision is starting to darken even more and his head is still pounding. He knows he should respond to Blade, but when he opens his mouth all that comes out is a pathetic sounding whine. Everything hurts so much.

“You do understand that you’re caring for the thing meant to bring destruction and chaos to our world, right?” The woman asks, Phil looking behind him fondly as Techno grabs at the ends of his wings.
“He’s just a child.” Phil answers distractedly, humming as his wings get gently yanked at.
“He’s the first of three to destroy life as we know it! Shouldn’t we, well, get rid of him?!”
“Oh, no.” Phil raises his eyes with a sharp glare. “Believe me, I have my own way of preventing the apocalypse.”

Or, Techno, Wilbur, and Tommy are basically chaotic forces of nature, destined from birth to end the world and bring destruction. Most who hear of the tale of them are trying their best to track them down, and to end the monsters while they’re still young, still just children.
Phil has a different plan.
(In which Phil raises the minecraft equivalents of the anti-christ with love and support, so much so to the point where the world ending is really just a funny thought, and Phil has three kids who casually have powers that are bit more extreme than anything else in the world)
