Yoojin looked to his left, eyes wide. This place was always soundless in an almost sacred way, but someone else’s mocking voice broke the silence.

Itadori Jin has not wished for fatherhood. He had gone into a relationship with the shared understanding that neither of them had wanted children, their reasoning fairly different but reasoning they both felt was right. But even he must admit, that wasn’t entirely true. Yes, at one point Kaori had no desire to have a child, or have to deal with pregnancy in any manner. Now though...
His father had disapproved of their marriage, and for once since he and the older man had begun to butt heads (he can’t recall a time they haven’t) he understood. Kaori had been…pushy, to put it lightly. And he, the cowardly man he was, gave in. Perhaps he would understand once their baby arrived. He would have to, there was only so much time left. Besides, Kaori insisted she would take care of everything. He just needed to stand by her and smile. It would all work itself out. It had to.

I was chatting with my friend about the similarities of Hereditary (2018) and Yuuji’s family situation, was told I was seeing things (they were lowkey right), voila! This became a thing.

Excellent take on the theory of how The Itadori Family mirrors The Graham Family. I have noticed similar things when I read JJK. Especially the arc that shows snippets of Itadori Jin and Kaori, as well as Wasuke. It's eerie and perfect in every way possible, not in a good sense but it felt imperfectly corrosive, how everything boils down from tragedy and consequence.
I agree with one of the author's comment regarding that JJK would have carved horrors beyond comprehension if done not in Shounen but as it was originally intended, Seinen. It has many potentials, especially knowing Gege like classical paintings to describe situations befallen in Jujutsu Kaisen.
Absolutely amazing and unique take, I don't talk on bookmarks a lot, but this one had me intrigued.

Yuji hates Sukuna, but never has he ever wished to be apart from him. He's never lonely with Sukuna, no matter how much he suffers with him. Yuji doesn't only hate Sukuna, but he also hates himself for being able to look at Sukuna as something other than a malicious being.

“Ah,” Yuuji says. It’s strange. His shoulders loosen and feel lighter than they have in years. A chuckle bubbles out of him. “Man. Can’t believe I defeated history’s strongest sorcerer just to have my own body rebel against me again.”
Or, five years after Shinjuku, Yuuji’s ready to go. He won’t ever admit it to anyone around him, but a large part of him is eager to finally see his old friends and teachers again. He finds himself smiling more, laughing more even.
Then Gojo Satoru shows up at his doorstep.
