Summary
An impostor is running around Gotham. A billowing figure tanking gunshots like they were confetti. He wears the bat-symbol like it's his own, but with spikes across his shoulders and back, making it clear he's not the friendly type.
The cape, large and matte, splits by the end into tendrils, attaching themselves to the ceiling and walls like itty-bitty grappling hooks. No. Not like grappling hooks per se, Nightwing numbly noted, like small batclaws.
"That was not Batman," Nightwing reminisced with more ease than he felt. "There's a fairly," he raised his hand where the real Batman's height ended, "big difference."
Or
Absolute Batman lands in the Mainline universe and learns that maybe his mission doesn't need to be a lonely one.

Summary
Why did his heart cry, both in unease and excitement? His nephew watched him as if he were the only person who mattered. Yet his words were poison, brimming with desire to see Aemond seethe. And that is how he realized that is what Jace had been craving; violence, a reaction.
Set after episode 8 "The Lord of the Tides"

Most dreams fade into oblivion, fleeting and forgettable, but not for Gojo Satoru. Unlike others, he recalls his dreams vividly, for he has had the same dreams since birth- the same meeting, with the same boy, every night.

Sanzu never had such realistic dreams before. It would most definitely be odd for him to start lucid dreaming in his late twenties, but not impossible, right?
The phone said it was 2005. Sanzu barely remembers that year.

Summary
The first time it happens, Bruce doesn’t do a great job at hiding his surprise. It was only a couple weeks after Tim’s adoption was officially finalized - hyphenated name and all. Bruce still smiles to himself at the memory of reading ‘Timothy Jackson Drake-Wayne’ on those papers, trying not to choke up at his third son being the first to take the Wayne name. Of course that was never an expectation, but still, it meant something that Tim chose to take it.
With that considered, perhaps Bruce shouldn’t have been quite so shocked by the teen calling him ‘Dad’, but he is. And he’s even more startled to hear it declared loudly as Tim abruptly sprints towards him down the hall at full speed.
“Dad Test!”
Or
Tim starts a trend in the family of jumping at Bruce at random, increasingly difficult times shouting: 'Dad Test!' to see if he'll catch them. This leads to many shenanigans & then crash lands into angst because of course it does.

Summary
Bruce wakes up in a Gotham that isn’t his own—younger, unscarred, in a world where Batman never existed. He is surrounded by children who still found their way into vigilantism without his intervention, who look at him with affection and wariness in equal measure.
They believe he’s their Bruce, recovering from a brutal attack, but he knows he isn’t.But as he plays along, trying to piece together the secrets of this world and the reason for his presence here, staying silent may prove just as dangerous—because whoever wanted this world’s Bruce Wayne dead isn’t finished yet.

The address -- 1007 Mountain Drive -- told Alex two things: one, their patient was either going to be someone unreasonably wealthy or an unlucky service worker, and two, getting to the actual patient was going to be a bitch.

Summary
“The fuck you mean who’s there?!”
The realization catches up to him slowly— way too fucking slowly.
(Though, in his defense, he’s managed about three hours of sleep over the last few days, has just been abducted by goddamn aliens, and has definitely lost more blood than the average person should in one night. He’s tired, and pissed off, and still sort of twitchy with adrenaline from getting a couple hundred bolts of electricity shot through him. Not exactly firing on all cylinders, here.)
Eventually, though, it clicks.
“Are you blind?” Jason blurts out, incredulous.
Bruce doesn’t respond, still tilting his head slightly, like he’s straining to try and listen for a far-away sound— like Jason isn’t literally feet away from him, shouting in his ear.
Again, to reiterate: what the hell.

(or; during a mission gone wrong, an injured Jason and a (temporarily) deaf and blind Bruce are kidnapped by aliens, and locked in a cell together. It goes... well, it goes. Half Jason character study, half just an excuse for self-indulgent whump)

Summary
Forty was an achievement. One that many people never could achieve.
Bruce's made it past his sixteenth, his twenty-first, and his thirtieth. They didn't fly past him, but he did it.
He'll do it again. Had to.
