The noise inside the club went from a low hum to dead silence, as one of the patrons screamed, “The Titans are coming!”
It was like somebody yelled “Fire!” in a crowded movie theater. All hell broke loose! The patrons scattered, knocking over chairs, tables, and drinks in their haste to flee the building as fast as humanly possible. Reiner stuck his head out of the men’s dressing room to catch a glimpse of what the hell was going on. He’s seen patrons scatter for gangs in the past, but never at this level! It scared him a little bit, and glancing over at Petra’s nervous expression across the bar did not make him feel any safer. He caught sight of Levi making his way towards the dressing room, seemingly in no hurry whatsoever.
“Levi!” he shouted. “What the hell is happening!?”
The shorter man stopped when he got to the doorway, running his fingers through his hair as if all the commotion was just one big inconvenience for him.
“Are you deaf?” he chided. “The Titans are coming.”
Their heads turned back to the now empty room, and in a blink, it was flooded again with men and women in sharp suits. Probably the finest suits Reiner’s ever seen.
