Summary
Wordlessly, Aeleus held out his hand, waiting to see if the boy would take it. When he made no motion to, and Ansem likewise indicated no notice of it from above them, Aeleus ventured further.
He gestured towards the courtyard Ienzo had been studying with a tilt of his head, the boy’s eyes intently following the motion. “Let’s go there,” he told Ienzo, as softly as he could manage. A notion difficult for him, so his fellow guards might say, calling his voice one that could cause earthquakes and his tone as cold as stone. Unable to measure his volume by his own ears, reverberations in his throat the only indicator he had of the noise he’d made.
His boyish face still stern and impassive, emotions so strangely set onto his young features, Ienzo nodded and slowly crossed behind Ansem to take Aeleus’ open hand. Aeleus clasped it gently and carefully stood to lead him away from the home’s remains.OR: It was a tragedy in itself, the sudden catastrophe of a home collapsing in Radiant Garden. The child survivor is an entirely different story. Aeleus is not quite sure what to do with it, but does his best.

Summary
“Cellbit’s working on that case from the French side of town. He’s looking for evidence of the murder weapon.”
“Ah, again?” Maximus slowly stood and tossed the receipt into the bin under the counter. “Thought he’d have figured it out by now."
It was typical for the staff at Muffinheads to trade details on the work of their resident private investigator; it was the most interesting sort of encounter they got at a small business like Bad’s, otherwise frequented only by office workers and college students.
“He put the broken chandelier piece on the list,” Vegetta said gleefully. “I told you!”
“Not everyone thinks like a serial killer,” Maximus told him, equally a defense of himself and a jab at Vegetta.
Vegetta could offer nothing as to the normalcy of assuming a weapon could be made of a dismantled grand chandelier. Instead his gaze flicked back to Cellbit’s hunched over figure across the room, searching for emotional indicators on how his work was proceeding. He hoped to take a second glance at it soon and see Cellbit’s latest lead.OR: The coffee shop au

Summary
Ansem always had a penchant for strays, so it's not at all surprising when he takes in the orphaned child Ienzo. The boy's presence changes everything, far more than Even is willing to admit. Ienzo's brilliance seems promising, but the arrival of a young Xehanort pushes the apprentices onto a dark, cruel, inhumane path which will affect the future of the World. And even once it's all over with--once Xehanort is dead--they still must pick up the pieces, forgive one another, find a way to atone for their atrocities, and struggle to accept the humanity which has been thrust upon them.

Summary
Everything was oddly smaller than Ienzo remembered it being, if only because he himself was not so small anymore. The castle, however, was still immeasurably large, and now it felt accordingly empty. Ienzo was more than familiar with emptiness. Ten years an empty shell, after all.
With the second Keyblade War on the horizon, Ienzo wants to help the Guardians of Light however he can; to atone for sins past. It's hard to focus, however, with his newly-reclaimed humanity hanging heavy on his conscience.
Or: Kingdom Hearts III, through Ienzo's eyes and heart.

Summary
Ienzo's voice, when he spoke, was scratchy and congested, and felt much the same. Like his vocal chords were frayed. Like trying to play Demyx’s sitar with a cello bow.
Even switched his gaze from the screen to Ienzo’s face. “You look terrible.”
“Thank you,” Ienzo said. “Now, if you’re done pointing out the obvious…”
Ienzo's work ethic will always win out over his sense of self-preservation. Even has never been the kind to worry, but he is not, to his dismay, immune to fits of sentimentality.
