Summary
The experiences and relationships that shaped Frodo into the Ringbearer. Pre-quest series. The first installment covers the time between Frodo's parents' deaths and his adoption by Bilbo. The second installment deals with Frodo's life at Bag End, and his relationships with Bilbo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin. The third installment covers the period after Bilbo leaves the Shire, exploring Frodo's growing bonds with Sam, Merry, and Pippin. The first two are written and just need to be uploaded; the third part is in progress. Lots of hurt/comfort and friendship, no slash.

Summary
The Cage was never meant to hold a human. It was meant for one archangel, not two, and definitely not a human soul. Little by little Sam's soul was being destroyed by the torture the Cage inflicted on it. Lucifer and Michael joined together and, with their combined grace, pieced together Sam Winchester's soul and sent him out of the Cage and into the past in the hopes that he can stop this whole thing before it even starts.
Only, when Sam lands, things don't quite go so well. He's not all that sure that this isn't another torture the Cage has provided for him. He's in the past, right after Dean got out of Hell, and he's nowhere near the same man he was before. He can barely remember how to function as a human. It's going to take his family and a little help from a surprised archangel for Sam to start to recover. He doesn't have much time, though, because the apocalypse is still coming and the angels are fighting to get Lucifer free. Can one broken man manage to change the past? Or are they doomed to repeat their same mistakes over and over again?

Summary

Summary
The stories chronicle a post-season 11 AU.
When Amara raises Mary Winchester to show her gratitude to Dean, Chuck takes a moment to give a gift to Sam. He intervenes after the gun goes off and offers the younger Winchester a chance for healing beyond the physical. Healing for a soul shredded and burned.Using a piece of His own grace, God reforms Sam Winchester’s soul and body in order for Sam to properly process the traumas of the cage and beyond.
Now, Sam, Dean, Mary, Castiel, and others must figure out their new roles and relationships. But the story of healing is beyond the ragtag family of misfits on Earth. What would happen if angels remembered what it meant to be angels? Heaven isn’t just a system that cares for souls. Heaven is a family. And both have been broken for a long time.
