Once they've been away from their vampire captor for a while, they sort themselves out and the lie gets overlooked. It has become a habit of the Belmonts to say 'yes,' remove the victim from danger, and worry about the rest later.
So he just nods and reaches out and says, "Come with me," and she does. Which really is just another mark in the 'vampire victim' column, if he were tallying, which he's trying not to.
