    During the events of "Operation Bumblebee" (Season 2, Episodes 4 & 5), the Decepticons detect an unknown beacon on Earth emitting a strange signal. Knockout was the unlucky mech aboard the Nemesis who was instructed to investigate. For the Autobots, Bumblebee felt confident enough to do recon on the signal all on his own. With both on their way to intercept what could be another Cybertronian relic, what could go wrong?

    Despite Sam giving his all in helping the Autobots, he dies in the battle of Egypt, and is repaid by the Primes ripping him away from his life on Earth. Instead, they send him to Cybertron just before the war breaks out with the request that he stop the war before it's too late. What is he supposed to do about that, you ask? Great Question, because he has no clue either.

    You know the drill. Sam is converted into a sparkling and sent to Cybertron. He proceeds to make everyone's lives as hard as possible on purpose.

    In the aftermath of the battle for Iacon, Darkwing is left untethered. His leader was a traitor, his purpose is gone, and all around him, bots he has spent his entire life demeaning are rising to find a new place in their society. He expects to be executed, or at the very least, imprisoned; instead, the new leaders of Cybertron declare that the mine supervisors who participated in their oppression will be rehabilitated. Darkwing has no such interest in ‘personal growth’ or ‘being better’, and he is determined to not let any former miner decide his future, cog or no cog.

     

    Unfortunately for him, B-127 is not the type to give up on a lost cause.
