Summary
Suguru begins to wonder if it’s lonely for Gojo. Keeping an inch between him and the world.
Not an inch, a voice that sounds suspiciously like Shoko reminds him. Infinity.
But does it feel like infinity? When summer’s humidity swells to its peak, can Gojo feel the pressure? When a barrage of low-level curses ambushes them in Roppongi, can he sense their velocity, the twist of the wind? When Suguru grazes the immovable space between them - hands him a test paper, shoulders past him in the corridor, reaches out, unthinking, to slap him on the back – does Gojo know the warmth of Suguru's skin?
Then, on July 12th, in a sour-smelling alley in Katsushika ward, Suguru catches him. Hunched over, spindly legs crouched, a street-worn cat pressing her nose to his fingertips. It licks her sandpaper tongue over his knuckles. Rubs the flat of her forehead against his palm. Gojo hums, pushing a tangled cowlick back with his thumb, a serene little smile on his face.
Yes, Suguru thinks. It must be lonely.
(Trauma is complicated, brains are strange, and Satoru Gojo is not immune to either of these truths.)

It's not a surprise, by any means whatsoever, but it is... It is...
It's a cold shoulder, muttered remarks, a refusal to look her in the eye, and the disgust the overwhelms his expression when he sees the pansy shell she's trapped in.
He hates her.
Well, at the very least, he hates him.
But there's no way in hell someone like him could ever smile at someone like her... He doesn't even know her.

Writing is quite hard to understand
It didn't flow too well and there were definitely words missing
Did the thing that tma fics do where stuff just happens that the author just made up(yes I know tahts what writing is future willow you know what I mean)and it doesn't happen in cannon so I can't imagine it well and I'm just confused
It wasn't good really
The interactions were lacking
Also not a fan of geto/yuuji in general but I can usually squint and see it as qpr or something but this just wasn't good
We did NOT need that scene of geto jorking it at the end of chap3 or something it literally added nothing was of character for geto normally and also how he's characterised here
(Which is badly like you are not just angry and nothing else come onnnn((he's also not speaking in his normal manipulative polite manner☹️☹️☹️)))not my geto
I'm saying it's worse then it is some parts were interesting and it was good enough I read it in a da and came back to it multiple times so idk

Summary
His grandpa still looks old – gray hair, a face mapped with familiar lines – but they’re softer now. He seems steadier. Healthier. Not like the frail, pale man Yuuji remembers lying in that hospital bed.
Something Yuuji thought had scarred over tears open again at the sight of him. The feeling is both comforting and destabilizing.His lips part, and a quiet, breathless, disbelieving “Huh,” slips out.
Wasuke stands frozen. The color drains from his face so quickly it leaves him ashen. He stares a beat too long, half shock, half something like rapture.
“Jin?” he breathes.
The name hits Yuuji like a punch to the gut. He opens his mouth, instinctively, because something in that voice sounds fragile, almost broken, and he doesn’t know how to stop it. The edge of hope in it makes it worse.
Wasuke shakes his head sharply, as if scolding himself.
“No… no.” His eyes refocus, sharper now, cutting past the years. He looks closer. Really looks.Wasuke’s face freezes mid-expression, a mix of disbelief and horror. “…Yuuji?”
Yuuji is six when he meets his uncle. What he remembers most about that day is that it was the first and last time he saw his grandpa cry.
