Summary
In high school, Gerard was the opposite of cool. He was the greasy kid who lived in his mother's basement and got bullied by underclassmen. He was pretty sure college was going to be the same deal, except with a bunch of art students instead of football jocks. But when Gerard meets his roommate, Ray Toro, he's introduced to a whole new world of art school wannabes, and hey, at least he won't be going to see Iron Maiden alone.
Gerard's doing a bit of catch-up work on high school drama, but he doesn't mind. He's glad that, for once, boy problems aren't the least of his worries.
(Pre-MCR AU where they're all in art school together, Mikey comes in later because he's a couple of years younger than the rest of the band in this canon. Title taken from the Sorority Noise song, Art School Wannabe)

Summary
Sapnap was a relatively normal child. He went to school, had friends— well, one or two—and then grew up. Joined the military. Was sent off into some Special Ops unit he’d never heard of up in London, part of some contract between the UK and the States. But really, none of that matters. Sapnap was a normal child, went to a normal school, and had normal friends. He played normal football in highschool— didn’t even make varsity. He’s always felt like a background character in someone else’s story.
However, his deployment in London flips his whole world upside down; a ragtag crew of scientists, hybrids, and one American military man set off on a journey to find their most dangerous quarry yet— and Sapnap has to face the music eventually.A prequel oneshot to "The World, Hanging Upside Down" that explores the past relationship between Sapnap and Dream, as well as Sapnap's perspective on the boys from the SMP.

George has heard rumours. Everyone has, at least in his workplace. Some of them prove to be true, but more often than not, the SMP (Squadron for Man’s Protection) field team is running after urban legends and London folktales. More often than not, the scientist finds himself respawning multiple times during such trips where the rumours are true, but the more likely scenario seems to be what’s happening now: a whole lot of nothing.

So, it didn’t start out like this.
Alfred would scoff at the statement, about how Bruce was trying to justify the whole situation to himself. It had started out as a simple design, black everything with black outlines and black hood. It got a little more intense as the world went on, got wind of his ghost on the streets, and became scared of The Bat . So Bruce got a little more creative with it, Alfred and him had a good laugh over the name, the scare, and Alfred had a vicious streak of humor that he had passed onto his ward-
So now the suit had a visible bat-theme, an insignia to drape in the shadows and to paint across the streets of Gotham.
It only took a year into the whole charade of heroism for Bruce to overhear a conversation between some goons- some low level thug hired by the Riddler this week- about nothing at all pertaining to what the hell the Riddler was doing in the sewers but instead:
“ The Batman can fly, you know, I’ve seen his wings.”
