Jax mustered up the energy to travel back to his desk, plopped down in his chair, and threw the notebook down in front of him. It fell open to the page labeled CAINE’S KINKS.
He grabbed a pen and tapped the tip of it against the page a few times, before making a few edits.
This is not a love story. This is a revenge story.

The author is more interested in the idea of Caine and Jax being narrative foils than she is in the idea of them having a genuinely abusive relationship. This story includes some spicy bits that are easily skipped - though you might miss some slapstick and character development if you choose to avoid them. This story is mostly comedy, though that might just be to make the tragedy hit all the harder. Or, In which a formerly well-respected scienterrorist is outed as a mutant and leaves adult society, adopts a blueblooded wriggler, and begins a heretical quadrant-smearing courtship with a lusus with rebellion espionage training who himself unwittingly adopts three orphaned children.
Contains graphic depictions of dismemberment, death, heretical relationships, anti-imperial sentiments, and a juvenile understanding of how the non-conciliatory quadrants work. Not suitable for trolls 6 sweeps and under.I found this buried in my Google docs from like 2017 and thought yall might enjoy it?

This fic broke me and healed me all at once. The character interactions are impeccable, the plot will punch you in the face, and the drama of it all made me laugh, yell, and sometimes cry. Highly recommend

Dragon AU. In a faraway kingdom, the alchemists of ACME Guild have been tasked by the king to transform common metals into gold to expand the royal treasury and increase the king’s personal wealth, at the expense of the commoners and dragonkind.
Pinkhart is a young dragon who’s been sold to a noblewoman, and though he tries to make the most of his situation after being separated from his mother too early, it’s a lonely existence when he’s a status symbol and nothing more.
But when he meets a dragon from ACME Guild, maybe that will start to change. And maybe he can find a treasure to truly call his own.

This is a REALLY GOOD FIC and a very sweet, well-thought-out AU. One of the most engaging interpretations of Pinky and Brain’s characters that I’ve seen in a while, especially since they had to grow up largely separate in this AU. It makes them more complex as individuals, and more engaging when they’re finally together. Highly recommend
