Summary
Regulus makes his way to the front desk, spitting out a “Hi, how can I help y—” before he’s stopped in his tracks. This isn’t Marie — this is James Potter. James fucking Potter, the boy who Sirius ran away with years ago, still with those stupid glasses and messy hair. “—ou?” It doesn’t surprise Regulus that James doesn’t recognize him, the last time James saw Regulus, he was probably thirteen with long hair in a scratchy dress.
“Hi,” James cranes his neck to read Regulus’ nametag pinned on the front of his sweater, “Regulus.” He smiles. Regulus hates that smile.
