Summary
On a distant planet, Adora and Catra discover ruins that are both familiar and strange. They leave Adora changed.
As symptoms become harder to dismiss and She-Ra complicates things further, Adora faces a fight she can’t win by pushing through. Who is she when she can no longer rely on being the person who can always keep going?

As Etheria’s restored magic settles across the planet, everything begins to grow, wake, and change in ways no one fully understands. Everyone else sees healing. Adora sees questions she can’t seem to answer.
With the war over and no clear evil left to fight, she begins to wonder about her own goodness, the weight of power, and how easily a right choice might become the wrong one. Catra tries to keep her grounded, but Adora can’t tell whether healing is supposed to feel like this.

Summary
Catra woke slowly.
Senses returned to her one by one, and the re-acquisition of each came with its own profound sense of regret. There was a coppery, unpleasant smell mixed with the wild scents of earth and sweat. Hearing—well, that wasn’t working too well. All she could hear was a distant ringing and the repeating echo of a deafening crack, trapped within her mind.
Pain, though, that was working just fine.

Summary
"Adora, do you know who I am?" Catra whispers, her eyes searching Adora's. Adora feels butterflies swoop in her stomach at being under her intense stare. She always thought Catra's eyes were beautiful.
"Yeah, of course. Catra. Bow's friend, right?" She doesn't bring up asking her out because she doesn't want to make her feel awkward in front of Bow and Glimmer.
Catra's face crumbles and Bow reaches out and grips her hand tightly.

Being She-ra was power and freedom, but in the wake of her … When Adora crashed back into her own body, made home with all the hurt, all the pain that being Adora meant … Well, it made her angry. She’d never considered before, before all this, that maybe things were unfair. That word had never been part of her personal vocabulary. Things were the way they were, and you dealt with it, and that was that. No use fussing. No use asking what could have been, might have been, if things were different. If you were different.
She’d been a child, and then a soldier, and she’d never considered that maybe hurting all the time wasn’t normal. Because of course she did. With the things the Horde put them through? Adora didn’t know enough about the world to think anything of it.
