Summary
Michelangelo gets kidnapped by a mad villain that wants to kill all Youkai and Mutants. Youkai are natural born mutants that hide underground or in thick forests.
It takes a year to find the villain and take back Mikey. However they don't realise that he escaped with a help of a mutant and stumbles on a village in his travels that takes him in and helps him recover after countless torture he endured.
After some time Mikey gains wings and trains to take down the villain.First book- the kidnapping and Donnie pov

A few vases sprinkled here and there, filling the room with a sickeningly sweet scent – even a waffle-cone headrest framing the silken sheets of a neatly-tucked bed. The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.
“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”
With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.
