Shane laughs softly. His eyes drift back up to Ilya's curls, his fingers raking through them again and again. He's currently making it a frizzy bush, but they have nowhere to be today.

JJ nods seriously, “yes, lots riding on this. Rozanov is just ahead of you in goals this season, yes?”

Shane spread the spice jars across the counter, pinching his brows in confusion. “I asked what you wanted for dinner. What are you talking about?”
Ilya indifferently flipped a small picture around between his two fingers. In it, Shane was front and center with terribly dyed yellow hair that curled tightly down his neck and flowed away from his face. Immediately forgetting the chicken, Shane lunged over the counter to snatch the incriminating picture from his husband. Ilya’s face became consumed by a devilish smirk.
