Summary
Steve Rogers' life has been turned upside down. One minute, he's young, free and single and the next he's a single parent to a tiny baby and he doesn't have a clue what to do about it. Thankfully, he gets adopted by a Mommy-and-me group.
Bucky Barnes is a military veteran turned coffee shop owner and his shop is his sanctuary... Or it is, until a Mommy-and-Me group start taking the place over on a regular basis even if they're generally tidy and respectful - though it gets a whole lot better when a hot guy starts joining them, of course, even if he comes with a massive DIY project in tow.

Summary
This is, of course, the worst plan that he has ever had. Soldat would never have permitted it. The Handlers would never have permitted it. The Soldier isn’t even sure if he’s still Omega enough, doesn’t know what they actually did to him when he was HYDRA’s asset - he may not possess all of the prerequisite parts to be a ‘real’ Omega anymore, but he knows that he was one once. It was in the half-file he stole on himself, after all.
It’s also another puzzle piece that suggests that he once could have been The Bucky - after all, The Bucky was the Omega of Steve Rogers. But the time for analyzing that is not now.
He has to acquire the necessary items for his risky plan.
And he has to go through with that plan, consequences be damned.

“Saturday. Yeah, that’s good,” Steve says, and actually scuffs his shoe at the ground. Like a ridiculous shy superhero damsel. “Say eight? I live-“
“Yeah, big building with the A on it,” Bucky says, and can’t help a big stupid grin. Steve stares at him, looking a little dazed, and after their whole conversation it’s only now that Bucky’s brain catches up and realises Steve finds him quite attractive. So. Win for Bucky.
“Let me get your number,” Steve says finally, after they’ve stared stupidly at each other for about three hours, taking out his phone.
So they exchange numbers, and then Steve says he should go, and Bucky agrees, and they kind of stare at each other for a bit more, then Steve actually does go, but not before taking Bucky’s hand and squeezing it warmly in a way that makes Bucky want to shiver all over. Then Steve is gone, and Bucky is standing alone in the alley, grinning to himself.
Right up until the moment he remembers that Steve thinks Bucky is an escort he’s just hired.
