In the year of the centipede that gnawed through a wire on her communications mast, Looks to the Moon first saw her; the specter crawling through her facility, its strange and ungainly limbs propelling her along through the far outskirts beyond her reservoir, wherein the wilds intruded. She recognized it, immediately— and that was why she couldn’t believe its presence.
They had all left her behind, had they not? What was this spitting image of themselves, in tattered robes and worn scales, and limping gait, doing here? She scrubbed her observational programs and checked her internal drivers for integrity, and scanned through her can for a memory leak—
When she finished, and found nothing amiss, the Ancient was gone.

Also, as a side note, I don't know how to fix the whole thing with the "every tag used in a work is present on the series" but I promise you that these stories are much less confusing individually. At least it looks extremely hilarious OOC.

(This is not a Gamer fic)
Madison Clements didn't realise she'd triggered until the bright blue text box appeared in front of her, telling her she was just as terrible a person as she always knew she was, but offering her a single chance of redemption. Madison wasn't sure powers were supposed to work like that, but she'll take the second chance with both hands and hopefully begin to start putting things right.
Or: A story where Madison Clements becomes a Hero, mostly accidentally kidnaps at least three people at various points along the way, gives Armsmaster a headache, Coil a migraine and Taylor Hebert the most confusing morning of her life. The fact that these were all technically the ideas of Madison's power very much does not make things better in Lisa Wilbourn's opinion.
