Summary
Sanji leans down and carefully, gently, ghosts his lips over Luffy’s forehead. Zoro, from his oh-so-clear vantage point, can see Luffy blink open his eyes blearily: can see the exact moment he registers the kiss because his face splits apart into a ridiculous grin like the sky splitting apart after a storm. The motion, the scene is so agonizingly sweet he’s got the urge to get up and stab one or both of them for it. He slams his eye shut again when Sanji straightens, whispers low and rough some instruction for Luffy to keep sleeping and walks past Zoro’s bunk without a second glance.
Zoro rolls over and goes the fuck back to sleep.
or: zolusan investigations on whether it's ok to be niceys to your friends (gayly) every so often. the answer will shock you. loosely connected zosan (+ omnipresent and loadbearing luffy) fic, little to no plot. forgive my inability to write assholes please

These are the words of a barbarian; he knows it.
So when he writes Rousseau a letter later in the month, he starts with, "...Never was such a cleverness used in the design of making us all stupid. One longs, in reading your book, to walk on all fours."
But then, he reads the discourse once again, and it reminds him of summer two years ago and the warmth of his lips and the soft caress of their hand.
