Summary
Two boys meet. Two teens survive. Two young men split apart. Two men unite. Two old men remember.
It begins when privileged kid Charles decides to drop every luxury in his London holiday house and embark on a journey to rescue a boy he saw in his dreams from the terror of the Holocaust.
This marks the start of a lifelong bond, having Charles and his partner Max - later Erik - witness the rise and fall of history’s tides, and tread through them.
A lifelong bond, 80 years usually - until death.
But Charles and Erik can’t die.

This is a series of short pieces exploring various ideas about Harry traveling back in time to Tom Riddle’s schooldays. Some are gen, some slash, and some have more warnings than others. I’ll be posting one a day between the summer solstice and the first of August.

Summary
Bravery.
They'll say it was bravery.
So had it been decreed by the King of Mycenae, leader of the Greeks poised for war in the name of honor and justice and… her father.
"I'll say you were brave, my worthy child," he whispered to her, as though the promise must have meant something to her. The only thing that meant something though had been the hefty blade he held and the cold flinty eyes, dispassionate and resolute.
Iphigeneia had not been brave.
