He tightened the hand holding the bouquet, feeling the leaves and stems through the wrapping paper until his palm tingled. He didn’t dare turn around to look at him. Summary
Why did the “celestial dragons” come to be called “celestial dragons”? Is there some hidden reason behind that nickname? Was something discovered and used as the basis for creating that nickname?
In this story, we follow a classic journey for KataCora fans—a tale centered on an “arranged marriage,” where Katakuri will be presented with a “noble idiot” and Rosinante with a man wearing the skin of an infamous legend, a walking nightmare. But do they both live up to these characterizations? Until that happens, Doflamingo is going to have a lot of fun with the traitor who sacrificed everything for a filthy, rotten brat.
This story is an alternate universe where there are things beyond Devil Fruits and Haki, a universe where things can have explanations more complex than just “it’s an Akuma no Mi.”
This is my first real fanfic, so don’t expect it to be good—I’m just testing what I can do. I’ll also mention here that I’m not very good at using Ao3, so please excuse me for that. If the title or synopsis changes, don’t be surprised—this is all very experimental for me. So things might be pretty inconsistent.

Summary
Sengoku receives a call from Tsuru. His son is dead, they have found blood pertaining to him on the shores of Minion Island. Doflamingo has publicly stated that he has murdered his traitorous brother, disposed of his body throwing it to the gelid waters of the North Blue. Three months after the heartbreaking news Sengoku receives a very different type of call. Rosinante is alive and asks him to take the holidays he hadn't had in more than ten years.
His child has adopted four gremlin children full of traumas on a god forsaken island in the middle of the North Blue and unbeknownst to Sengoku everything is about to change.

There are several fics with the premise of 'what would happen if Garp had decided to be different and actually protect his grandchildren and betray the marines but few about Sengoku doing the same. I have the 'bad endings version/timeline of Sengoku staying loyal to the marines written in other fics of mine, but I wanted a gen fic in which Sengoku makes a very different decision. I've been thinking about this fic for months which means…I have to write it.
Whatever this is, it is probably the contrary thing to marine propaganda.

Summary
Rosinante, secretly the subject of the World Government's first attempts at what will one day be known as a Pacifista, has been sent to spy on and ultimately facilitate the execution of his evil brother.
Unaware, Doflamingo ushers Rosi into an indulgent lifestyle of vice and luxury, wrapping him in them like he wraps him in a cloak of feathers. Now that his beloved brother has returned, nothing will stop Doffy from smothering him with all the affection he knows how to give, and insisting that the rest of his family do the same. Despite suspicions and their better judgment, the executives try their best to please Doffy, and make Rosi feel welcome.
The longer he spends with Doflamingo, and with Doffy's evil comrades, the more Rosi desperately wishes that he could find a way to disobey his orders; the more completely he finds himself sinking into the wickedness in his own heart, and hoping that he'll never escape.

Their care preserved more than greenery: it wove an illusion of safety for the creatures that dwelled there and spun a web of disorientation around any mortal who dared wander beneath the boughs.

When they were children, their father took Doflamingo, Rosinante, and their mother from Heaven to live among the humans. Their father naively thought that life would be simple and easy. It was not. After their mother’s death and living through two years of suffering in Hell, the oldest child took fate into his own hands. Doflamingo hid his baby brother and went back to heaven with their father’s severed head as an offering to be accepted back into Heaven.
Like his father before him, the eldest child’s plans slipped through his fingers. Not only were he and his brother denied entrance, but upon his return to Hell, he learned Rosinante had vanished, leaving behind nothing but a ransacked barn and a pool of blood.
After sixteen years, the brothers reunited. One is a pirate captain set on bringing the world to its knees, while the other is happy to be back at his brother’s side, alive and free. It is bliss for a while, happiness and blooming feelings that brothers usually never have for a family of shared blood. But both brothers have secrets they keep from each other. Secrets that will either bring them closer together or push them further apart.
The question is: Which will it be?

Rosinante lives, frankly not understanding why would his brother spare his life only to interrogate and later on imprison him. Only for Doflamingo to approach him with a deal.

So since you’re only good for ratting shit out to whoever is the admiral you report to, do that for me!”Normally he’d rather die than work for this monster, but after giving Law the courage to live, he can’t be a hypocrite. He’ll stay alive, spy for Doffy for 9 years, in exchange his brother would fake his death to the government and set him free after 9 years. Then he would be free, completely free to go find Law as a deadman to everyone. What happens though when he ends up marrying into the Big Mom pirates and being tasked to spy and report on his husband, Katakuri, who much to his relief isn’t a monster. Instead he’s a gentle, caring, a bit scary, overthinker who loves his siblings so much and is also hot.
