Summary
Zhao Yunlan wasn't really into blockbuster movies and sensational television until he was assigned to guard the rising darling of Chinese drama. And even then, he wouldn't say he was super into it, more like he was only specifically into anything with the name "Shen Wei" attached to it. But as he got to know the beautiful actor and slowly perused every title he'd ever been in, Zhao Yunlan couldn't quite get over the feeling that he had seen him somewhere else before. Or at least, someone who looked strikingly similar.

One of his braids had come undone and was falling across his face. He batted at it, resigned. He was untidy and disheveled, which was just so wrong for Shen Wei that Zhao Yunlan couldn’t help himself.
“Let me,” he said, and reached out to tuck the strands back.
Zhao Yunlan gets to take care of Shen Wei, and gets a little more back than he was expecting.

He watches all twenty-two minutes and fourteen seconds of Chef Shen's video without fast-forwarding. When it comes to an end, he clicks on the replay button.
He ends up taking zero notes, and the only thing he manages to learn from the whole exercise is that Chef Shen -Shen Wei- is really fucking beautiful when he smiles.
