Summary
I have seen so many fics of hockey and figure skating kids of Shane and Ilya, many of which I have loved reading. I have been stuck thinking about what sort of kids they could have who are still so much like them but have no interest in the ice.
So I would like to introduce their gaggle of OC kids I wrote in one night when I should have been sleeping.
----
The media expects Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov to raise the next generation of hockey stars.
Instead they get: a linguist, a Broadway choreographer, two Olympic athletes who refuse to play winter sports, and a palaeontologist with permanently dusty glasses.
Close enough.

Summary
Oneshot where Ilya forgets his meds on the road and experiences SSRI withdrawal, but it’s all good because Shane always has his back.
He filled one of the thin paper cups with water and reached for his antidepressants. His fingers closed around the ibuprofen instead.
He frowned, scanning the counter. The amber prescription bottle wasn’t there. He checked the toiletry bag, then checked it again, more thoroughly this time—unzipping every pocket, pulling out the larger items. Nothing.
That was strange.
He would be fine…

Summary
Zuko had never excelled at anything. Azula was a prodigy. Uncle always knew what to say. And Father... Father was strong, iron-like. But Zuko had only ever been good at surviving. Putting one foot in front of the other in a grim show of stubborn determination, gritting his teeth and bearing it. Survival was all he had ever been taught. He knew how to do it. So when he was kidnapped by the Southern Water Tribe, he expected to fight as he always had. He didn’t expect to be taught instead how to live.
In a warring land, the Water Tribe forgave the enemy in an act of defiance. For this, he was torn from them, and this time, his wounds won't heal so easily.
Forced back into nothing but survival, the last person Zuko expected to see was Hakoda's son. Hakoda was a promise of safety. The relentless blue of Sokka’s eyes was a promise of happiness. Zuko could have both if he just reached out his hands, but he found them clutching into fists. After all, he’d been burned one too many times.
But hey, at least between Hakoda and Sokka, Zuko could appreciate the family resemblance of pure, asinine stubbornness.

Summary
Quentin was never the kind of boy brave enough to walk into a kink club- except apparently he was. Only to find that his sort-of-best-friend/crush is also there and offers him everything.
OR: The non-magic College AU where they fall in love, and nothing is vanilla that everyone (me) wanted.

Summary
"You think I hate you? You think I'd ever kill you?" Sokka holds Zuko's face in both hands, blood dripping from his lips. "I'd fall on my sword for you. I'd find you anywhere. What do you think that means?"
Rescued, but imprisoned, Zuko finds himself no further from death on a water tribe ship. Sokka, the chief, would see him bleeding out on the boards of the deck as justice. He's a fire bender, the evil of the war that his father rages through their world. Zuko hasn't been a part of that war. Not for years. Now he's thrust back into it against his will, finding himself fighting on a side he never expected to be a part of. Maybe he'll find a cause worth fighting for; someone worth fighting for.

Summary
“You’re lucky, Zoro,” she had spat, eyes turned up towards the sky, like she was trying to hold in tears. He'd never seen Kuina cry before. He’d never seen any expression on her face other than her teeth gritted in determination or her grinning in victory. “I want to be the greatest swordsman too. But girls grow up, and their bodies become weaker than men's. I’m never going to be the greatest.”
Kuina tells him this, and Zoro can barely comprehend the words she’s saying. He thinks of the countless hours he’s spent training by the river bed, the green locks of his hair left on the floor after Koushirou helped him shear it all off, of the people he thought of as family a lifetime ago calling him by a name he despised. Zoro puts a hand to his chest, where he’d hastily wrapped bandages earlier that day, remembering how his body had begun changing and he didn’t understand why-
“You’re lucky to have been born a man, Zoro,” Kuina finishes lamely.
Zoro sees red.
