Summary
The entire Z team wakes up unknowing of their surroundings, with no memory of how they got there. When Robert is taken to an interrogation room, he finds his team trapped behind the glass, except Herm. One failed genetic experiment to attempt to turn Herm into a hybrid later, Herm is thrown into the room with Robert, in chains and a muzzle, not processing a thing except for the hindbrain animal instincts urging him to maul, claim, bite.
It’s up to Robert to take care of his partner and try to bring him back, even if it means letting Herm take what he wants in front of the Z team.

"Jesus, calm down." He shifts off the bed to shuck his pants, leaving Hannibal closer to the knife and himself vulnerable. "Even if I wanted to, how would I turn you in? You'd destroy all evidence before we got even close."

Will's eyes flickered over Hannibal’s suit – the tan plaid, three buttons on the jacket (currently undone), matching waistcoat, cream shirt with English spread collar that was so spread it was virtually a cut away, and a paisley tie with a double Windsor knot. Will Graham took all this in with a quick, professional eye, and then looked back down at his ledger.
“No,” he said simply.
Hannibal, who had been coming forward, halted abruptly.
“I beg your pardon?” he asked. Will Graham was rude, and that was such a disappointment after all the effort he’d gone to for this referral.
“No, I will not take you on as a client. Sorry to waste your time,” Mr Graham said, not sounding very sorry at all.
“May I ask why?” Hannibal said stiffly.
“Because I’m not going to fuck around with all of that, whatever it is,” he replied, waving a hand at Hannibal’s suit. “I don’t know what that is, but I’m not having a bar of it.”
