“Whoa, okay—don’t say it like that. Makes it sound… predatory.” Robin scratched the back of her neck, her eyes flicking toward the padlock. “You can leave if you want. Just to be clear.”

Sara let out a striking, free laugh, as Ava turned to her work station, eyes burning with rage, and got down to work.
She would prove to this nobody that she was really fucking good at her job.
