With sleep had come peace, and with peace had come clarity: Mace volunteered to find General Grievous himself because, unless Obi-Wan Kenobi stayed on Coruscant, a calamity would ensue beyond anything they had ever seen before.
Which was how Anakin Skywalker found himself in his current predicament: falling a thousand stories to who-knows-where in the depths of Coruscant's lower levels.
Sure, Palpatine had betrayed him to a extent that he was only beginning to understand, there were three murdered Jedi in the Chancellor's office, he didn't know if Padmé was going to be alright, and it was completely possible that he was going to end up as a bloody smear across the windshield of a speeder, but the fact remained that he and Obi-Wan had just spent the last ten minutes shrieking at one another like a pair of younglings to such a degree that they forgot about the Sith Lord in the room.

Over the course of one week, Midoriya Izuku sees his childhood friend turned bully face consequences for his actions, gets appreciated for his skills, acquires a boyfriend that sits right in front of him, realizes that his grumpy homeroom teacher is actually on his side, and tells Aizawa Shouta the truth about One for All.
All of that information, however? It's happening in the background. Follow our hero: Aizawa Shouta aka Eraserhead. Over the course of the same week, Aizawa looks into his Problem Child and his many contradictions in order to not see Midoriya Izuku and Bakugou Katsuki paired together for their upcoming final exam.
During this time, Aizawa learns things he should have known from the start, talks to a lot of people, drinks so much hot chocolate, loves his husband, feeds his cat, gets a shocking six hours of sleep, reflects on his past, and learns the truth about a legend passed through underground heroics for decades.

This work is probably one of the best Worm fics I’ve ever read. The evolution of the characters, which includes Taylor’s character development, is just so good! It’s good for newcomers of either franchise, and rewards knowledge of the franchises in a way that feels so worthwhile. I cannot recommend this enough, read it if you can.

This is here just because of chapters 47-49. Adam is a wonderful antagonist for this little arc, and you can definitely see where he is coming from even if he’s being a complete asshole about it. Then there’s the moment of equipment failure and the revelation to the rest of the crew why Adam is being so antagonistic to Juleka, which has the entire crew call him out. Finally, the improve in the second act to keep the audience from realizing that Adam has become the monster of the week is delicious. Of course, the hero getting the girl in the end is just the cherry on top.

The brighter the light, the darker the shadows. And in a super-powered society, those shadows are dark indeed. But whilst the world desperately trained more and more heroes, making that light brighter and brighter, the prestigious hero school, UA, had another idea. Why not tackle the problem at its source?
And so was born the infamous class 1-A. Would-be criminals from all over the country were selected, and a group of twenty now roam the halls of the school, alongside the heroes of the next generation.
Last year, the entirety of Mr Aizawa’s class A graduated. But this year was different. No, he didn’t believe they would all graduate back into society like the classes before them. He believed they could become something bigger. That was why, with gritted teeth and a manic smile, Eraser Head turned to his new class of students and said:
"You aren't villains - you never were, and you never will be. But you can take that fire inside of you and put it to good use. We're in a hero school, aren't we? Well then...
"Let's be heroes."
