Summary
Stephen Strange's life has, surprisingly, been going well. He has a rewarding career, joined the Avengers, has genuine friends for the first time since college and a group of teens he mentors/occasionally parents. All that's missing, as Wong likes to remind him, is a partner. So when he's needs an excuse to get out of Stark's 4th of July party he takes a chance, doing something impulsive even by his standards.
Lucy Tavares has been single since college. She's been on way too many dates and had more almost-boyfriends than she can remember but nothing ever seems to pan out. Her parents think she's not trying hard enough. Her brother thinks she's too paranoid and distrustful. Her best friend think her flirting skills need work. Lucy thinks she's an autistic person with PTSD that she been putting off going to trauma therapy for far too long. So when Lucy's latest date stands her up she's not surprised, just disappointed. But before she can leave the restaurant a mystery person welcomes himself to her table.
Lucy wants to trust. Stephen's ready to be vulnerable. They've just never found someone who makes them feel safe enough to do so. Can they change that reality with each other?

Summary

Summary
Donna Strange is Jack's first believer. That doesn't change her fate though. She still dies in an ice skating accident on Christmas Eve, in the same lake Jack did. No matter how hard he tried Jack couldn't save her, nor could her big brother Stephen. Feeling horrendously guilty (something about little sisters dying really gets him) and wanting to honor her memory Jack swears that for as long as he lives he'll be Stephen's guardian.

Percy had thought they were heading for better times. Zeus was sane again, and he can feel the difference in the mortal and mythical worlds around him more by the week. He was solid friends with Nico again, and Leo's back whole and hale. Things might not be the best, but he’d thought they were on a good trajectory.
It turns out that you really can’t help people who don’t want to help themselves, and Jason’s worries about Triumverate Holdings is the least complicated of Percy’s issues. Annabeth is getting worse, and nothing Percy’s tried has seemed to get through to her. Worst of all, their relationship, which had carried them through all their challenges before, seems to be falling apart around the two of them, and he can’t figure out what to do.
He’s just praying that his mom’s pregnancy remains boring and easy. He can’t handle anything going wrong with Estelle’s birth too.

Percy wasn't even entirely sure if this was actually his Dad. Or if it was his Dad he would even listen to him considering the sheer lack of absence in his life before now. But that was fine it wasn't really about his Dad hearing him.
It was honestly more about airing some of his frustrations somewhere that he didn't feel like he could get in trouble. Because he didn't want to sound ungrateful for this chance. But...camp was a lot, and he hadn't even been here a full day!
