Along with the cold realization of how much they touch is the discovery of how much Luo Binghe thinks about him. Which is a lot. Shen Yuan could count on one hand the number of times he’d glimpsed into Luo Binghe’s thoughts and found his friend not thinking about him. And it’s not just the existence of the thoughts themselves, but also the contents of said thoughts, which range from rather sweet sentiments about taking care of Shen Yuan in some way, to— Well.
And look, Shen Yuan isn’t the thought police. It’s not like he’s going to hold it against Luo Binghe for having certain thoughts within (what should be) the privacy of his own mind. Because even after all these years Killua still knew Gon, knew him better than anyone, and Gon wouldn’t let him go.
So Gon had to drink the poison. The only question was how.
