Summary
When Alastor first laid eyes upon his new next-door neighbor, he had believed she was going to be just another person who judged him based on things out of his control: his race, his ethnicity, his background, but after a chance encounter, he learned the truth: that she was so much more than her own circumstances would let on. Over the next few months, Alastor came to understand just how much the two of them had in common as she revealed parts of herself to him that she knew she would never show anyone else.
For as many surprises as Rosie had provided him with since their first meeting, nothing could have prepared him for what happened one morning after a night of sating their darkest desires. Looking over her as she slept beside him, he made a wish that would change the course of his life forever: to see more sides of her that she was afraid of putting on display. He had thought these longings would be kept to himself, and he would continue to learn about her little by little as he had since they met. Instead, his simple desire turns into so much more as it changes him in a way he never could have expected.
