Summary
Loki wakes up surrounded by bars. He quickly discovers he's stuck in the body of a baby, and is treated as such. It's almost a worse punishment than Asgard's dungeons, and he's surprised at how often Midgardian children are caged like little prisoners in cribs and playpens.
Loki would gladly take the dungeons over being coddled by Thor, but of course he wasn't given any say in the matter.

Summary
For one long, horrible moment, Loki knew he was dead.
He just didn’t know where exactly that left him.Or, the Infinity Stones have their own agenda, and don't like being used. Loki is an exception to the rule, and is thrust back into the world of the living with a ship full of confused Asgardian refugees. He's not really sure why he's been spared, only that he's got a civilization to save and a brother to catch up to. If only he didn't have to keep making reckless bargains, and people would stop trying to pick him up.
Because being reduced to an adult trapped inside the body of a child was never one of his better plans.
Then again, neither was dying. Or pathetically trying to save the universe. -
