I put off reading this for so long because I didn’t want to read Crowley going back to his angel form but holy shit Raphael was literally just a younger Crowley!! I was so obsessed with Raphael and it was so interesting seeing the story through his eyes because he’s able to look at all the characters as a perceptive outsider. I was honestly sad when we had to say goodbye to Raphael but it was so beautiful at the end of the story when Crowley remembered everything and he was able to become his full self. Aziraphale and Crowley were also both so in character and the plot was so interesting. The story never felt like it dragged. Also both Aziraphale and Crowley were very BAMF. The ending was absolutely perfect. Aziraphale and Crowley being the protectors of earth and humanity and making a better afterlife for them and a better life for the angels and demons that are willing to revolt? Ugh so perfect, so right. Everything that GO3 should’ve been!
