“Atsu—Atsumu, please. I’m sorry, just stop please.” Kiyoomi struggled to say through his giggles, completely breathless.
The setter stopped with the tickling, finally letting him breathe after what felt like hours of laughing. But Atsumu didn’t remove his hands, keeping his light touches around Kiyoomi’s waist and his left hand on his wrists. “You should laugh more. It looks so good on you.” Atsumu quietly said, eyes softening remembering how beautiful Kiyoomi looked.
“I—what?” Kiyoomi asked, chest heaving as he tried to catch his breath. He wanted to ask further, but once he locked eyes with those honey-brown eyes, he knew something was different about Atsumu. Only then did he realize Atsumu didn’t move an inch and his arms were pinned.

“Ask me again.” Kiyoomi suddenly blurted out, eyes seeking out Atsumu’s.
“Ask ya what?” Atsumu mused at the omega, trying to wrack his brain to what Kiyoomi was referring to.
“I’m ready now.” Kiyoomi smiled at him shyly as he laced their fingers together.
“Ready for…?” Atsumu continued to look at him with confusion for a moment as he watched Kiyoomi’s smile only grow wider.
“I think a summer wedding would be nice. We’d have to rush it a bit to be ready by then. And my mother will surely throw a fit. But you don’t mind, right?”
Atsumu didn’t even care about the way Kiyoomi shrieked at him and swatted at his shoulders when he knocked the omega into the dirt to kiss him, squishing the flowers they’d just planted. Even Yukio coming over and painfully jumping on his back, thinking it was playtime now, just made Atsumu laugh harder.
He and Kiyoomi would be mated at last.

The party was still going, a random track from their new album was playing as people danced and mingled among themselves. Kiyoomi's dark eyes scanned the room and it didn't take long to hear Koutarou's loud laugh as he was reacting to whatever story Atsumu was telling him. Tetsurou was right by his side too, along with Motoya and that made his stomach curl with another sickening wave of anxiety.
There was no way he could ever do this.
Atsumu looked good though, maturing well into a superstar idol deserving of his celebrity status that wouldn't be tarnished by Kiyoomi. His beaming smile was alluring, those amber eyes filled with pure joy, his gorgeous body that's only gotten beefier since his stringy teenage days. It's the happiest Kiyoomi's seen Atsumu, enough to possibly overwrite the awful memories of the disappointment in his eyes from when they last seen each other.
How could Kiyoomi be selfish enough to ruin that? It wouldn't be fair to Atsumu.
