Summary
“Nothing,” Will says, right into Mike’s ear. “Still feeling good?”
So good. Mike makes sure to not say it aloud this time. “I think,” Mike says slowly, heart pounding, “I need” — Will pulls back just a little, just enough for their noses to bump against each other, clumsy, and Mike bites the bullet — “one more.”
Will is still in Mike’s lap, which is maybe not very platonic of him, and the joint has smoldered its way down to the end, nearly over, all eaten up by the fire. Will swallows thickly, then leans closer, a perfect imitation of their positions from earlier. Mike isn’t sure how long it’s been, but fire has been eating away at him too, this whole time, leaving him on the brink of going up in smoke, slow and burning and so good.“Yeah?” Will murmurs, realization dawning on him, eyes wide. “One more?”
or: Mike’s still new to this whole smoking thing. Will has a few ideas.

“It’s an aphrodisiac," Dustin told him, still looking at the pill.
“Come again?”
Lucas snorted at the phrase, and Mike glared at him.
Dustin shoved the packet into his bag before looking over to Will. “It’s a sex pill.”
“It’s a—” Will stammered, looking around wide eyed before glancing back at Dustin. “A sex pill? What the hell would we do with that?”
Lucas wiggled his eyebrows. “We have a competition. First one to tap out and jerk off first loses. Which will be all of you first, obviously.”
After the majority of their teenage years got interrupted by monsters from alternate dimensions, the Party starts to work their way through a bucket list of “normal” teenage things they never got the chance to do.
Taking sex pills to have a competition with your friends is totally something all teenage boys do, right?
Mike regrets everything (no he doesn’t.)

Mike would like to believe in ghosts— really, he would. Especially after everything that happened with Will. He wants to think that his best friend is watching over him from the other side— but he’s not entirely convinced.
Which is why he’s here, breaking into an old abandoned house. No one in Hawkins dares to go inside; there have been rumors about this building being haunted since before Mike was born. Flickering lights, a shadowy figure in the window, scratching from the inside; Mike calls bullshit.
