Max watched from the pit wall, arms crossed, concern written all over his face. He was able to identify five different cues that Gabi has been suppressing a drop by now. The most obvious was the manic focus and stone-still stare. He was trying to use sheer willpower to glue himself to the adult state, but it was like trying to hold back a flood with a sheet of paper.
“Gabi! Take five, that’s enough!”
The rest of Max’s warning was drowned out by a flash of light and then a crack so sharp it seemed to split the world open. Gabriel stopped dead. His stomach dropped. His lungs forgot how to work. He felt it before he heard it, the thunder that followed, deep and all-consuming, rolling through the ground and straight into his bones.

Heeseung tucks one hand into his chest. The other, he presses to his lips, breath hitching like he’s crying when he’s not.
What is he even doing?'Push your hand away.' He thinks. 'Just do it.'
He doesn’t know what the members would say if they saw him. He doesn’t even know what he’d say to himself. Maybe he would walk out of his room, and say nothing at all.
But no matter how much he wills his hand to move, it doesn’t. It’s no use.
Instead, his neck burns with shame. He presses his thumb into his mouth before he can get a say in it, squeezing his eyes shut as if it’ll protect him from himself.It hurts to admit, but that’s all it takes for the world to go quiet. A hush in the air, comforting like a low hum of the wind at night.
This happens more than he’d like to admit, always when everything becomes too much and the world starts to feel too big. But it doesn’t make sense. It never has.

Really, I just wanted to explore Phil’s side of the story regarding Daniel and Depression. Because mental health doesn’t just affect the individual; it also affects those close to them, in ways we can’t imagine until we’re the ones on the other side.

Chan likes to sleep naked because it’s more comfortable, but Seungmin layers blankets over himself. Even now, he has a blanket covering his lap, but his arms are still cold beneath the sleeves.
Chan sighs and finally drops his arms, unaware of the internal crisis Seungmin is having. All he can think about is Chan’s arms, Chan’s muscles, how hot Chan is - both physically and visually.
Seungmin always runs cold. Maybe Chan is just what he needs to warm up.
