Sandrone only goes looking for a connection. She finds more than one.

Sandrone prefers silence, and the empty seat beside her. It is a space no one in class ever sits in.
Then a new student transfers in.
Soft-spoken. Calm.
And unexpectedly… blind — walking with a white cane and quiet confidence straight toward the empty seat beside Sandrone, throwing her completely off-guard.
The new student isn’t fragile.
She isn’t helpless.
And for the first time, someone sits beside Sandrone without fear.And that’s what unsettles Sandrone most.
To make matters worse, she’s assigned as the transfer student’s “class buddy.”
“The hallway’s getting crowded,” the new girl says softly.
“Can I stay closer to you?”Sandrone scoffs.
“Stay close.”

Summary
Columbina creates a moonwoven plush in her own image so that Sandrone will not have to face her loneliest nights alone. Delivering it to Snezhnaya should be simple—until a band of thieves intercepts the package.
By the time the gift finally reaches Sandrone, it carries more than a recorded song. It carries Columbina’s promise that distance does not have to mean solitude.

Summary
Why? Why is it that the first time she sees Sandrone's face, the light has faded from her eyes? Fate couldn't be so cruel, not after everything they had been through. They had saved the world, for heaven's sake. Wasn't that enough?
A primordial rage wells up inside Columbina. No. Death shall not have Sandrone, not while she is the Trilune Goddess. The world would bend to her will, fate be damned!
She can hear her friends walking toward her. Lauma is saying something. The Traveler too, but Columbina doesn't listen. With a flash of kuuvahki, she teleports herself and the broken doll to Silvermoon Hall.
"I can fix this, Sandrone." Columbina whispers, "I can put you back together."
A goddess mourns her beloved doll.
