Josuke had a comforting light in his eyes, even as exhausted as he was from travel. This was the first time they’d met in person, but they’d been corresponding regularly through email so consistently and thoroughly for the past year that he already felt like an old friend. Josuke knew more about Giorno than almost everyone he’d ever met.
It was easier to talk about his fears and weaknesses over text, to someone without a face. Josuke had a face now, though, and the feeling hadn’t changed.

AKA. That time when Giorno ran into the wrong people at the airport and his life immediately spiraled from there. Looks like Koichi's luggage is safe... for now.

Summary
I don’t normally pay that much attention to the credits. In general, I tend to care more about the fictional characters than the real humans playing them, but this had caught my attention.
I mean, it wasn't the first serial that ever put in a SecUnit as a villain instead of a prop. RihaniLane Street had actually made their SecUnit villain sympathetic before it tried to kill everyone. And obviously this fictional SecUnit was going to be a villain, too, because they always were, but that scene was —
The credits said ‘Made and Produced in GoodNightLander Independent.’
Oh.-
Or, Murderbot has feelings about finding positive representation.
Mostly positive.
Even when humans try, they get SecUnits wrong in media.
(Not the murder, the murders were justified, but the writers made the fictional SecUnit like cubicles)

A series of semi related fics where html is used as a major part of the story telling. experimental story telling, experimental html use, and a lot of reader interactive moments in the stories are present.
- Caffeine Brewed: Used an existing twitter skin to experiment with. A little messy, but it was my first dip into epistolary story telling.
- tired quaranteens: a lot of custom skins made by me. new html gimmicks in almost every chapter. choose your own adventure segment in ch 6 and an interactive segment in ch 7
- do you believe in coincidences?: written in the 2nd person - an interactive game where you explore a mysterious phone and decide who it belongs to, which affects the ending you get. There's more than 1 identity reveal, especially if you get the secret ending 😉 mild references to Caffeine Brewed if you squint.
- the hottest topic: phantom works at hot topic, and the internet suspects he's secretly half ghost, what does that even mean anyway?
- of bugged boxes and blunders: the box ghost learns to think outside the box

I cannot hear the roll of my new owner's eyes, but I can predict it easily enough. I used to like watching humans. Their little eccentricities fascinated me to no end. After our journey it wasn't enough anymore. Watching hurt when I knew what it was to touch, to hold, to be an unadulterated good. I miss it sometimes, the watching. When I do I replay my most precious memories and remind myself of the wonder behind my discontent.
I miss you, my last client and my miracle boy.
I will miss you until the day I die. I swear it again because it seems that may not be today.
