"Don't." America's hands are balled into fists, his knuckles white.
England arches an eyebrow. "Don't?" he echoes mockingly.
America's jaw works, but when he speaks his words are steady. If he controlled his body language, England might even be convinced. "You could favor me. Or hell, even just stay out of it! The Confederacy isn't anything—there's nothing to mediate because they're supposed to be me—"
England laughs in his face. Then, pivoting neatly on his boots, he strides out of the room.

America/Any Micronation - dating without realizing he's a superpower
2012-08-02 03:57 pmAmerica, being a major superpower and heavily involved in so many arenas of world politics and whatnot, can't seem to make a romantic connection with other nations. (Maybe the other nations are wary of him or have too much bad history or really are just annoyed by him.)
By chance, America meets one of the micronations, who in my head canon don't necessarily have much to do with world politics, either by their own choice, or the major nations don't pay attention to them. The micronation doesn't even recognize America, besides realizing that he's a personified nation/region, like them.
Bonus 1: Part of their bonding is related to their age. (Most of the micronations are youngish, and America grew up really quickly and tends to be act childish.)
Bonus 2: The ‘parent’ nation of the micronation finds out and is superprotective and/or freaks out.
Bonus 3: The micronation is more confident with sexual aspect of the relationship than America.- Bookmarks:

There’s speculation about who it is that Alfred likes so well, but Arthur isn’t happy with the situation. After all, if those white rose flower petals are a representation of Alfred’s love, then the person who Alfred likes so well must be a pure and innocent person… AKA not Arthur, right?
