Summary
When confronted with a streak of building demolitions amidst the heart of his city, Ground Zero has a hard time coping with the tragedy.
There are too many lives lost, too many children separated from their parents- there's no way that the local Hero Agencies can handle such a wide-scale epidemic. They need some extra hands. Who would have thought that the additional power they brought in would yield a familiar face.
Maybe all Katsuki needs is the comfort of an old friend to get him back on his feet again.

Cold and dark, water washes over Kirishima. It's not a sprinkling, or a gallon. It's an ocean, and it's unforgiving.

He's afraid of water. Always has been ever since he got his quirk. It's common sense to be afraid of water when you're a stone.
Like it always does when he's overemotional, his bones lock down and turn to cement. His skin sharpens to glass. He weighs heavier and heavier.
He's going to sink.
He's going to drown.
He's actually going to die.
He wishes he would have told Katsuki the truth. He had so many opportunities! At UA, after graduation, hell, this morning when they ate breakfast.
It would have been easy. So easy to say, "Hey. I love you. I've been in love with you since the entrance exam."
