Summary
Mike Wheeler is a star FBI agent, known for solving the kind of cases everyone else gives up on.
Then a serial murder case from northern Michigan lands on his desk.
No witnesses. No pattern. No evidence left behind.
Mike is certain he can close the case, but he has no idea what he’s getting himself into.

Summary
Mike turns around and sees Will standing in the middle of the hallway and stops.
"Hey," he says. "Can I help you find something?"
His voice in person is slightly different from the radio. This is the version before the edit. Louder, and a little breathless from arguing, and entirely unaware of how often Will had listened to him.
"I'm here about a logo commission," Will says. He sounds, he thinks, almost normal. Even with his brain operating at half-capacity.
Mike's eyebrows go up in surprise. "We're getting a new logo?"

Summary
His inner omega was practically hysterical… It hated that they had abandoned their nest, the home they presented in, and a potential mate, all to sit in the back of a van for days on end without properly caring for their pack. It hated that Jane had suffered, that Max remained comatose, that they had given Mike a courting gift that he unknowingly repackaged for someone else. It hated feeling scorned and rejected by someone so close to them, whose orbit they could not escape. His inner omega felt the need to prance around like a peacock, wanting to attract as many alphas as possible. It wanted to show Mike just how coveted Will truly was.

Or: Will Byers presents as a male omega while in California. He would have been a rarity in Hawkins, but felt almost normal as he settled into his designation in Lenora.
Until he gets trapped in his hometown during the apocalypse, that is, and has to navigate what it means to be a male omega and “Zombie Boy” at the same time. And maybe fall in (and out) of love while he’s at it.

Summary
"Mike had noticed him because he was hard not to notice. He looked just so... Gentle.
Will moved through campus like someone trying not to disturb the air around him, while everyone else seemed determined to reinvent themselves at maximum volume in the new environment they were on at the campus, Will existed quietly at the edges of rooms, soft and careful and entirely self-contained.
And, unfairly enough, he was probably one of the prettiest people Mike had ever seen in his life."
Will doesn't speak. He decided to stop using his voice for his own personal reasons, but slowly, he starts to think that maybe it wouldn't be bad at all if he decided to use his voice again. Maybe that talkative boy– Mike, from Creative writing, might be the first person to prove him he was wrong about that part of himself.
Of a boy that after going through a lot of pain stopped using his voice as a defense mechanism, and a boy who can't stay quiet for long because his thoughts overwhelm him.
