    Lan Wangji’s eyes were set on Wei Wuxian’s face unwaveringly. Wei Wuxian could basically feel something surge up between them, Lan Wangji holding back words with all his might.
    What words could that have been? Why didn’t he just say them? Wei Wuxian didn’t understand him. Wasn’t it better to talk and say what needed to be said?
    Just as another rowdy grin started to form on his face, his own words ready to spill over, Lan Wangji brought forth: “Yesterday, you⸺grabbed my ribbon. You touched it.”

    At the Qishan archery competition, things don’t go as planned. But not only that: Just as Wei Wuxian starts to see Lan Wangji in a wholly new light, the state of the cultivation world deteriorates dangerously, a conflict forming that is spearheaded by the Qishan Wen clan.
