Summary
Mikes POV from Season 5 Volume 2 - IE S5E5. This story falls within canon, taking into account all the footage released in S1-S5 and adding context to glances/looks and potential off screen content that fits with what we were shown including plot holes; making Byler more obvious AND giving them the respect they deserve. I will Be continuing this fic after the ending of S5 into college and post college if I can come up with enough content/have enough people that want to know but I will end it with a brief paragraph about what their life looks like for the future if not. Mike struggles with his feelings when Will uses his powers to save him and fights with himself about what is supposed to be "right" and what actually feels right. Not quite internalised homophobia, more that his world is different than he thought it was, for the second time in his life. Will he realise his feelings too late? will he run late again?
