Because if Picard can make old literature references then I will too.

Summary
AU—What if the final signal notifying Spock that Michael was safe didn’t show up until Kirk was Captain of the Enterprise? Wherein I throw Strange New Worlds and Discovery canon out the airlock but also try to stick as closely as possible to the cannon.
A story about grief, Spock’s journey to becoming his best self, and a whole lotta found family along the way.

Summary
Seven of Nine has been severed from the Borg collective and must grow and learn with her new collective, Voyager. She must learn that she doesn't need to do everything alone.
This is Seven's journey, reaching toward the beautiful woman and human we see in Star Trek: Picard.
OR: Seven of Nine deserves more of a growth journey without Rick Berman leading the helm, so I wrote a collection of snippets of Seven of Nine growing and learning to be human without a hetero/male influence. Enjoy!

There has to be a reason why Pavel Chekov is a 17-year-old Ensign on the Flagship of the Federation, meaning he’d have to be YOUNG to go to Starfleet. This is my interpretation of this.

Summary
Spock does everything else but face what happened on the Class H planet with Kirk, until he is forced into a unique situation with his captain, where alas, he must face it.
Based on the season 7 episode of TNG “Attached" but what if it was Kirk and Spock instead of Bev and Picard? There is some direct dialogue from that episode.
Would encourage you to read “What Took You So Long, Mr. Spock?” first because you will get hella spoiled for that one here if you don’t.
