When the child arrived his black hair was tousled and messy. He lay sleeping in the fallen needles of the pine tree that stood above him.
The boy was lain on his side; he looked peaceful, as if he had just fallen asleep for a moment and lost track of time.His face was soft looking in sleep, a light brown, with his lips slightly parted. His hands were curled protectively around the empty space beside him. He wore a faded orange shirt and baggy jeans, with tattered old converse poking out from the hem of them. He was undoubtably handsome, even if it was in a homeless, skater type of way.
The wind brushed lightly against his skin. His face was littered with little pale nicks on his nose and cheeks, showing an insight to the life the boy had led. As the moonlight shone on him every so often his skin would seem to ripple, scales seeming to creep up his scared arms, slits appearing in his neck. But it was surely a trick of the light as the boy who lay there his black hair filling over his eyes was completely normal... completely.

I always like the whole main character demolishing world order kind of story, so I figured I'd give it a try. Think Chaos story with far less Chaos and (hopefully) reasonable characters. Pretty much Percy makes the gods really mad (a lot of them aren't his friends anyway) so he becomes a fugitive with Annabeth as they have to hide away from the legions of gods and demigods out to kill them. This story kinda goes all over the place.Series

Hazel loves her life, is the thing. She has her brother, and Frank, and all of her loving, wonderful friends. She has a job that she loves, and sometimes her coworkers are a pain in the ass, but she even loves the biggest asshole among them. She has a nice apartment with Frank that looks over the valley, with large windows and beautiful lighting and an extra room to use as her art studio. She and Frank have been talking about getting a cat. They’ve been talking about going on a trip this summer—to China, maybe, or somewhere tropical. They haven’t decided yet.
And whenever she’s stressed, or exhausted from work, or worried about anything, she can always come here—to Camp Half-Blood, to get away from her life for a little while. Nico always knows how to make her feel better, and he’s always able to impart a bit of wisdom. And she can do that—she can just pick up and leave for a few days, because she knows that those she works with can pick up the slack. She can be herself, and do what she needs to do for herself, and no one has ever told her that’s wrong.
