Clive carries the Sanbreque prince out of Twinside for his brother. On his own, he might have left him to die. Bahamut has already killed so many people. And Sanbreque...Sanbreque has killed far more.
But once the rubble settles, he can't ignore it. The familiarity of the ruins -- the shattered city, broken by a mad Eikon, covered in the dragon's shrieks. Clive has been in that city. Clive has been that killing Eikon.

Summary
The last thing Cid expects to find when he sneaks into Drake's Head after the fall of Phoenix Gate is a crying child.
Let alone this specific crying child: Dion Lesage, Dominant of Bahamut.
Next thing Cid knows, the Mothercrystal has been destroyed (not by him), he's got a grieving 12-year-old prince on his hands, and he's hearing some very odd rumours about the Night of Flames. Rumours about who survived, and what was witnessed, and the reason it happened in the first place.
And Cid has never been someone who can leave well enough alone.

Summary
Cid has been wracking his brain for a solid five minutes as to how they ended up here, on the outskirts of Sanbreque’s lower asshole, with his fist twisting Clive’s shirt while pressing him against the cliffside.
Fine that he’s got Clive by the shirt, all well and good, sometimes he needs some sense shaken into him. Nothing new there. But the lad is… decidedly without pants. Which makes this a touch more awkward.
So does the raging erection he’s sporting.
**
Or, Cid never could have predicted the reason his clothes are being swiped.
Standalone.
