The mansion had been the first building to be built in the town, though it would be more accurate to say that the town was built around the mansion. The Afton family had resided in that mansion for nearly a thousand years now, what they saw in the location and why they stayed was likely the only question about them that truly lingered in Hurricane, though it was decided that they must enjoy the peace. Perhaps they were right, or perhaps the Afton family simply delighted in knowing this was one of the few places where humans could know of the existence of vampires and still co-exist peacefully.or
Charlie and Henry move into the town of Hurricane and discover that their neighbors are vampires and the Aftons are rather curious about what secrets the Emilys have.

In 1983, Freddy's Pizzeria opened. In 1983 the first disappearance occurs. In 1983 William Afton was born.
William wasn't always a serial killer. How did his story begin? Why did he murder his first victim? What might have his home life been like before falling into depravity? Here we see William go from a loser who lacks confidence that you just want to sympathize with, to a cackling serial killer who will go down in history as one of the worlds most horrifying serial killers.
Lets observe William Afton, sttaight out of college living his dream. A dream that devolves into a living nightmare of pain, regret, fear, sadness. This story attempts to stay as close to the known canon of the games as possible. Forget everything you learned in the wiki and learn how it all could have happened.
Warning: If you don't like sympathetic villains look elsewhere. William might have tried once upon a time to be a good person, but where the rails take him, he is unable to change.
This story does not take any games made after Pizzeria Simulator as canon, and ignores the books.

Elizabeth stops, thinking. “I don’t know,” she says finally, but thinks, I want him to be kind.
Thousands of days later, she’ll finally find the answer. I think he just wanted to grow up, she’ll write in a journal that she’ll burn someday.
“Probably something stupid,” she adds, and Charlie laughs.
No children go missing in 1985 in Hurricane, Utah. There is no accident in one of Fredbear's Pizzerias. Still, it's like something crawled into Elizabeth's chest and died there, slowly rotting her to the core. Or maybe that's the stench of her father's corpse buried in the garden. Or the dead brother who's still walking around the hallways like a ghost. Who knows.
Time travel's a funky thing.
And mourning someone who never truly left never gets any easier.

Elizabeth sighed as it was in fact lying closed on the couch at an angle that suggested it was not carefully placed. "Next time put it in the cubby so the cats don't get to it easily," she called in Alex's general direction.
"Okay, Aunt Liz."
Yeah, he definitely wasn't listening. Oh well.
She flopped onto the couch and opened her computer up, unsurprised Alex had left a video game open on it. This kid. What did surprise her, and slightly disturb her, was that she opened it the a pastel man coated in blood staring at her with one eye, his hand over the edge of the screen as if he was gripping it. There was a text box.
'Sike, you think you're really in control? You think you can just keep poking and prodding at me like that and I'm going to take it?'

Elizabeth finds a game her nephew was playing on her computer. Might as well continue where he left off.
