Summary
Laplace's demon was a thought experiment about causal determinism by Pierre-Simon Laplace in 1814. According to determinism, if someone (the demon) knows the exact location of every particle in the universe then they can determine the past and future of every such particle, and from such they can determine the past and future of the universe.
When you wake up on a ship full of aliens, ready to sell you and your fellow captured humans off as slaves, the last thing you expect is to survive. The last, last thing you expect is for Star Wars to be real.
Freshly freed, you go about setting up a life for yourself and your new daughter on Batuu. Now if you could stop attracting dangerous people, that'd be great. If you could stop adopting them, that'd be greater. You just did what you had to survive.
And then you did a bunch of other stuff you felt like doing.

His family is now trapped in the Castle, changed and no longer human, while Din is transformed into a Beast to wait for his true love.
Jaster Mereel is (retired) King of All Kingdoms, on the hunt for an impressive, hidden library. He comes across a snarky, not-extinct Mythosaur that lets him stay and read, and gets more than he bargained for.
Beauty and the Beast inspired, featuring Din as the Mythosaur!Beast, Jaster as Belle, Tor as Gaston, and everyone else as sentient furniture.

“Of course.” Luke says, leaning back in his chair. Mando looks extremely pained as he opens his mouth.
“Luke.” He says, looking as if it took every inch of his self discipline to drag out the single syllable of Luke’s name, “- I need your help.”
“Try saying it like you aren’t getting a lobotomy.”
“Grogu wants to celebrate Christmas this year.” Mando says, evenly. “But I don’t know the first thing about Christmas.”
Whatever Luke was expecting it wasn’t that.
“Uh. What?”
“I didn’t celebrate Christmas as a kid." Mando looks increasingly frantic, “-you said you had perfect Christmases, what am I supposed to do?”

Din Djarin has never celebrated Christmas before in his life, and yet has an extremely precocious kid who wants to.
Faced with the humiliation of exposing his failures as a parent to his family and friends, he instead turns to the one person whose opinion of him probably can’t get any lower…. and vice versa.

Din, and his aliit by extension, have been transported almost 60 years into the past. After ghosting this strange group of Mandalorians, doing some good deeds while adopting one Obi-Wan Kenobi from Melidaan, and having Grogu returned to him from the Jedi, Din realizes these Mandalorians want him to join them. He has no idea why, but what the hell. Boba says they're reliable and honourable, and it's not like they have anywhere else to go.
If only their Alor would stop staring at him all the time.
TLDR : A loose continuation of Cloud_Chaser's Oya Manda'lor (Posted w/ permission, doesn't need to be read). Din and family joins the True Mandalorians. Jaster has a big fat crush. Din does not know how to romance.

Din glances around them as his pulse flares.
“Surprised you’re not surrounded by admirers.” Din deflects.

Luke Skywalker is in the middle of an intense promo cycle for a few of his acting projects and about to release a new album, so maybe it's not the time to start an intense affair with an award winning photographer. Din Djarin has other ideas.

Unknown numbers of Mandalorians are scattered across the galaxy, awaiting a call to arms. Meanwhile, an ancient Mand’alor reaches out to Din in cryptic ways, blurring the lines between the past, present, and future. The long journey to healing and reclaiming Mandalore begins, and it would take the strongest to lead them.
